A Proud History

CFUW Clubs across Canada have a proud history of supporting Canadian women seeking higher learning opportunities and a tradition of active and successful advocacy on behalf of women and girls locally, nationally and internationally.

The Saanich Peninsula Club’s role is to enable women to pursue post secondary education through its continuous support of annual scholarship, bursary and education awards.

Membership is open to ALL women interested in:

  • Promoting cooperation, networking, support and understanding among women
  • Promoting lifelong education for women and girls
  • Advocating for the advancement of the status of women and girls
  • Stimulating interest in public affairs, in the political, social and cultural fields, and providing an opportunity for concerted action
  • Cooperating in the aims and projects of CFUW and IFUW.

We meet on the fourth Tuesday evening of the month from September to May at 7:30 p.m. at the Mary Winspear Centre.
